  • Dickinson County residents and businesses are to follow Governor Laura Kelly's Executive Order No. 20-52 requiring masks or other face coverings while in public.
This order went into effect on Friday, July 3, 2020 and remains in place until further notice.

Please remember to shop local for your face mask and sanitizing needs whenever possible!

Although the Governor's Ad Astra: A Plan to Reopen Kansas is now merely a guideline, please remember
that the businesses and citizens of Dickinson County are still required to follow the County's Plan through June 22.

The Abilene Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to keeping you informed during these unprecedented times. Businesses in Abilene, Chapman and Enterprise and all of Dickinson County are still OPEN FOR BUSINESS! All businesses in the area are doing their best to follow the CDC Guidelines. Businesses are also following the latest county and state orders (see above). Many businesses are still operating in some fashion, whether it's business as usual, take out/delivery only or virtually. Please continue to check here for updates. Some businesses, even essential ones, have elected to close to encourage others to follow the current guidelines. Take care to protect our community; don't go out if you've been sick; been around those who are sick; or if you have been of the state or out of the country. But let's keep supporting our small businesses in a safe, sane manner.  Continue to check here for updates, and we appreciate your patience as we work to keep this site populated.
