The HOPE Center - Serving families and individuals of Dickinson County who are experiencing emergency situations.
HOW CAN THE HOPE CENTER HELP?
Our mission is to be a clearing house to meet the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual needs of the people of Dickinson County. The goal is to be part of a plan for long range solutions to family stability.
Referral Service - HOPE networks with other social service agencies and also makes referrals to other community resources when appropriate.
Direct Aid - HOPE gives direct financial aid to help with bills such as utilities, rent, prescriptions, diapers, gasoline, etc. Using a voucher system, we directly mail the check to the vendor.
Money Management Counseling - Available, free of charge, to any resident of Dickinson County.
The HOPE House - Transitional house for local families who are homeless or unable to remain in the current housing. During the 90 days the family lives in the house expense-free, they are required to participate in life skills training and prepare for financial and housing stability.
