Ike's Place Bar & Grill was founded in 2012 in Abilene, Kansas, the home of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. President Eisenhower's nickname was Ike, thus a name and concept were born and the doors opened in April 2012.
Ike's provides a very casual, family oriented atmosphere while still capturing that sports feel. The menu is filled with something for everyone, from an assortment of flavored wings to juicy burgers, pastas to steaks, as well as amazing salads.
The restaurant is filled with portraits of President Eisenhower as a young sports enthusiast along with pictures of him enjoying his passion of cooking with his family. The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.
We hope to continue to serve the communities we're in and also continue to give back. See you soon!
